I would say that what Nick learnt (not that he didn’t already know this fact) is that all your reasons for leaving Christianity were based on pure emotionalism and a complete misunderstanding of the basic tenants of Christianity (and an apparent inability to take responsibility for your own actions).

What this demonstrates is that John is unable to take the slightest criticism of his work.

Had Nick only posted a typical “local rag” type review, John would have complained that it didn’t deal with the issues he raised. So now we have Nick doing a critical review of the work, and John complains that Nick goes into too much detail.

Actually I would say that if it is false, you wouldn’t be wasting your life because Christianity offers the best evidence for a God that has created people with a purpose in mind. If we have no purpose, we can’t “waste” our lives since it’s all meaningless anyway. Atheists are borrowing from theism when they make that assertion.

Thank you Nick for the review. I amazes me that someone who is only as knowledable as you can think you have actually enaged my ideas. It feels to me as if a high schoooler thinks he has done justice to them.
